The Human Resources Site Manager serves as the primary onsite HR partner for employees and leaders at an assigned SendCutSend location. This role manages day-to-day site HR activities and partners closely with the HR Director and site leadership to develop and execute HR strategies, workforce planning, organizational initiatives, and retention efforts that support operational priorities and evolving business needs.

The HR Site Manager works collaboratively with Corporate HR on employee relations, compliance, leave and accommodation matters, workforce initiatives, and other HR programs requiring broader organizational coordination or support. The role also partners with Talent Acquisition and Organizational Development to support effective implementation of recruiting, onboarding, training, and development initiatives at the site.

This position requires a proactive and approachable HR professional who can balance hands-on HR support with strategic partnership. The HR Site Manager builds strong relationships with employees and leaders, provides practical and consistent HR guidance, and helps foster a positive, inclusive, compliant, and high-performing workplace. The role supports employees and managers throughout the employee lifecycle while maintaining a visible and engaged HR presence within the facility. Occasional travel (approximately once per quarter) to our corporate headquarters in Reno, Nevada, is required for team collaboration and strategic planning.

What you’ll do

  • Provide day-to-day HR leadership for the assigned site, serving as the primary onsite HR resource for employees, supervisors, and site leadership.
  • Partner with the HR Director and site leadership to develop and execute HR strategies, workforce planning, organizational design, and retention initiatives that support organizational growth and evolving business needs.
  • Collaborate with Leadership to deliver effective and efficient full-cycle recruiting,  finding only the best talent to work at SendCutSend.
  • Build strong working relationships with site leadership and provide practical HR guidance aligned with company policies and practices.
  • Manage employee relations matters, including coaching, conflict resolution, corrective action, performance concerns, and employee complaints.
  • Conduct or support workplace investigations in partnership with Corporate HR based on complexity and risk.
  • Monitor attendance and ensure consistent application of attendance and corrective action processes.
  • Coordinate leave, accommodation, and workers' compensation matters with Corporate HR.
  • Support supervisors with performance documentation, coaching conversations, and corrective action.
  • Execute onsite onboarding and ensure new employees receive appropriate HR information and complete required documentation.
  • Conduct new-hire check-ins and identify retention or employee experience concerns.
  • Maintain required local HR documentation and ensure timely submission of employee changes to Corporate HR.
  • Monitor local employment compliance requirements and escalate concerns to the HR Operations Manager or Director of HR.
  • Support the administration and communication of company policies, procedures, and HR programs at the site and promote consistent application across departments and shifts. 
  • Partner with Talent on hiring needs and onboarding and recruiting.
  • Partner with Organizational Development on training completion and site development initiatives while OD retains ownership of training programs.
  • Identify employee relations, attendance, turnover, engagement, or leadership trends and communicate them to Corporate HR.
  • Participate in HR meetings and company-wide HR initiatives.
  • Maintain a visible, approachable HR presence within the facility.
  • Maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive employee, medical, investigation, and business information. 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • 6+ years of progressive HR experience in an HR Generalist, HR Manager, People Operations, or similar role, preferably within a manufacturing, technology, or fast-paced corporate environment. 
  • 2+ years experience in a leadership role
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including Workers’ Compensation,  FMLA, ADA, FLSA,  and other employment-related compliance obligations.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach supervisors and managers through performance management, corrective action, employee concerns, and difficult workplace conversations.
  • Experience interpreting and consistently applying company policies and HR practices.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and maintaining accurate employee records, personnel changes, and HR documentation.
  • Experience supporting employee relations matters..
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in sensitive situations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively handle a broad range of interpersonal contacts, including those at a higher level and those sensitive in nature.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to adjust work hours periodically to support employees and leaders across multiple shifts, investigations, employee meetings, or other business needs 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably including HR management or HR business partner responsibility.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related discipline.
  • HR experience within manufacturing, production, distribution, warehouse, or another high-volume operational environment. 
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.).
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, plant, or multi-shift operations.
  • Experience with employee engagement initiatives.
  • Strong data entry skills with high accuracy.
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred. 
  • Experience with Paylocity.

Essential Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while performing work duties.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and printers.

Work Environment

  • Environment is a fast-paced, collaborative environment that requires communication, organization, and coordination across teams in the organization.
  • Work is primarily performed in an office environment within a manufacturing facility. The role may require interaction with employees and supervisors on the production floor. Extended periods of sitting or computer work may be required.
