Millennium Space Systems, a division of Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), is currently seeking a Human Resources Senior Manager to join their team in El Segundo, CA. In this role, you will manage a team of Human Resource Generalists and HR Operations specialists deploying HR processes, policies and procedures and other activities to support, counsel and educate managers and employees on HR matters.
This role will also partner with senior leaders to provide strategic HR leadership to the team in support of strategy and business objectives. Critical thinking and having an innovative approach to solve problems will be an imperative part of daily management.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Shape and influence HR programs that support business objectives, employee engagement and operational growth
  • Serve as a key leadership team member as an HR knowledge expert, consultant and strategic advisor
  • Support workforce strategies including staffing strategies, skill/talent discussions, resource deployment, etc.
  • Work cross-functionally to strengthen company culture, reinforce values, and support employee engagement
  • Collaborate with HR peers to enable the organization's HR/business strategies, and ensure the efficient delivery of HR products, tools and services
  • Lead as a strategic advisor and change agent in the rollout of HR policies, processes or programs that support the business and overall strategies for the company
  • Build and sustain trusted relationships with senior leadership across the business and HR
  • Partner with the CoEs (Communities of Excellence) and local HR teams to ensure understanding and alignment of talent strategy and to ensure planning, execution and realization are achieved through solutions, programs and policies and support the CoE strategies
  • Understand how the workforce data flows into Millennium systems

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 10+ years of experience in Human Resources
  • 5+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role
  • 5 years of experience partnering and strategizing HR initiatives with senior leaders
  • 5+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and linking relevant HR strategies to business outcomes
  • Experience leading change management and process improvement activities at a business unit or enterprise level

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's Degree or Higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Active US Security Clearance
  • 5+ years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist (HRG) or Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)
  • 3+ years of HR experience working in aerospace or defense
  • Experience managing and successfully leading HR strategy and process development and implementation across matrixes teams (and/or through geographically dispersed direct reports)
  • Experience designing and implementing innovative solutions within a collaborative environment
  • Experience attracting, managing, and developing a high performing team
  • Experience driving transformation and organization design
  • Experience embracing problem solving with an innovative mindset and drive continuous improvement

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $161,500-$218,500
