Job Description
As part of the HR Steering Team (HRST), you will be responsible for overseeing a broad scope at Wavestone, covering several Practices (ranging from 800 to 1200 employees). Your role will be key in promoting Wavestone’s core values and driving the company’s employee engagement strategy
This HR Leader will be based in our Paris office and will report to the HRD of Wavestone.
Main Responsibilities:
- Partner with colleagues from the HRST to define HR priorities and key initiatives, leading global HR development projects and change management.
- Drive the local implementation of HR priorities and initiatives in alignment with the broader HR strategy and business requirements within the scope.
- Successfully leverage Wavestone’s engagement surveys and relevant HR KPIs to identify trends and proactively recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee engagement, ensure action planning, consistent follow-up and progress accountability.
- Champion the HR team within the scope (8-10 people) : provide leadership, goals, and direction to ensure the delivery of the HR agenda. Lead the HR team development by providing stretch assignments, support, and coaching.
- Ensure annual people processes are completed, support and challenge leadership teams through talent development, performance management, compensation, employee relations, and change management.
- Foster a seamless, inclusive, and positive employee experience for all employees within the scope, from onboarding to offboarding, provide direct HR support for Senior Managers, Associate Partners and Partners and their Career Development Managers.
- Support business decisions by providing reliable HR insights.
- Actively contribute to fostering a respectful and safe environment within the scope: identify and manage individual issues, engage with mental health and well-being initiatives.
- Continually assess the efficiency of HR processes and practices within the scope, proactively collaborating with HR colleagues across Wavestone to share best practices.
- Handle employee issues (conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance issues).
Qualifications
- More than 10 years' experience in Human Resources, including managerial and leadership roles
- Cultural fit to act as an ambassador of Wavestone’s values (refer to Positiveway book).
- Excellent communication skills (French & English), influence and relationship building skills, inspiring trust and confidence at all levels.
- Ability to scope and drive projects, support change management.
- Ability to set priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Always eager to contribute, excited to get involved in new activities and take on challenges.
