Provides support services to the Human Resources Department and assists in carrying out various human resources functions and projects. Organizes, prioritizes and carries out assignments, tasks and projects with general instruction and periodic review by the Human Resources Director. Responsible for the day-to-day administrative operations of the Human Resources Department. Provides full range of duties in support of the HR Depts mission involving sensitive and confidential information.
QualificationsWork Experience:
- Two years Human Resources administrative support experience. Must have excellent knowledge of, and experience with PCs and Microsoft applications.
- Basic knowledge of HRIS Systems and Federal Labor Laws preferred.
Education and Training
- High school graduate or equivalent.
Skills:
- Possesses effective oral and written communication skills and excellent knowledge of English grammar, punctuation and spelling.
- Proficient in the operation of personal computers and PC applications, including spreadsheets, word processing, databases and report writing to include proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Power Point.
- Demonstrate strong customer service and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal/relationship skills
- Detail oriented, highly organized, multi-tasker, and able to prioritize workflow.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
