Position Summary  

The Human Resources Manager serves as an HR leader and business partner for the organization, providing both strategic and hands-on support across all Human Resources functions. This position is responsible for talent acquisition, onboarding, employee and labor relations, payroll, benefits, leave administration, performance management, employee engagement, compliance, training, and HR operations. The HR Manager partners with leaders and employees across all departments to support business objectives, strengthen organizational culture, and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.

 

Essential Functions  

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following: 

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and workforce planning activities.

  • Partner with leaders to address employee relations, performance management, and organizational effectiveness matters.

  • Conduct workplace investigations and manage corrective action processes.

  • Administer payroll processes and resolve payroll-related issues.

  • Manage employee benefits programs, open enrollment activities, and employee inquiries.

  • Administer leave of absence programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation, and return-to-work processes.

  • Lead performance management, talent review, succession planning, and employee development initiatives.

  • Coordinate employee engagement activities and develop action plans to improve workplace culture.

  • Maintain HRIS data integrity and employee records.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.

  • Prepare and analyze HR metrics, reports, and workforce trends to support business decisions.

  • Partner with EHS and operational leaders on safety, workers' compensation, and employee well-being initiatives.

  • Recommend and implement HR process improvements that support operational excellence.

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and organizational information.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience supporting recruitment, employee relations, payroll, benefits administration, leave management, and HR compliance.

  • Experience conducting workplace investigations and managing employee relations matters.

  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Preferred

  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.

  • Experience supporting multiple locations.

  • Experience with compensation planning, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.

Physical Environment and Environmental Factors 

 Office Environment 

  • This position is fully onsite, with a requirement to work from the Punta Gorda office five (5) days per week. 

  • This position operates in a manufacturing office setting and involves regular use of standard office equipment. The role requires the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while performing computer-based tasks. The employee will occasionally move about the office or nearby production areas to access equipment, attend meetings, or communicate with team members. The individual must be able to communicate effectively with coworkers and external parties in person, over the phone, and through digital platforms.

Total Rewards

The compensation range for this position is $58,200.00 - $87,200.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
