We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the day-to-day HR operations at our manufacturing facility. This is a key leadership role responsible for employee relations, labor relations, compliance, recruitment, training, and workforce engagement within a unionized environment.
Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor to managers, employees, and union representatives while helping foster a positive, respectful, and high-performing workplace.
What You'll DoLabor Relations & Employee Relations-
Serve as the primary HR partner for employee relations matters, investigations, grievances, and disciplinary actions.

Build and maintain productive relationships with union representatives and employees.

Interpret and administer the collective bargaining agreement while ensuring consistent application.

Support grievance resolution, arbitration preparation, and labor-management initiatives.

Coach supervisors and managers on employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation.

Partner with Talent Acquisition to recruit hourly and salaried employees.

Coordinate onboarding and orientation, including union-specific requirements.

Build relationships with staffing agencies, schools, and community organizations.

Develop and deliver employee and leadership training programs focused on compliance, labor relations, communication, and leadership.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including labor regulations.

Partner with Safety to promote OSHA compliance and a strong culture of workplace safety.

Support HR initiatives that improve employee engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness.

Maintain accurate HR records and utilize HRIS systems to support reporting and compliance.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

5–7 years of progressive Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment.

Strong employee relations and workplace investigation experience.

Knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance.
Preferred Qualifications

3–5 years of experience supporting a unionized workforce.

Experience interpreting collective bargaining agreements.

Experience handling grievances, labor relations, and collective bargaining support.

SHRM-CP, PHR, or comparable HR certification.

Strong leadership and relationship-building skills

Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities

Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information

Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills

Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
