Human Resources Intern

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Human Resources team as an Intern. This internship offers hands-on experience in various aspects of HR management within Troon, providing valuable learning opportunities in a dynamic workplace environment.

Program Details:

• 12-week program rotating through the Learning & Development, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Total Rewards teams.
• The intern will complete a group project alongside fellow interns from other departments.
• This role is in person 5 days a week at our office in North Scottsdale.

Essential Duties:

• Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
• Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Provide administrative support for HR programs and initiatives, such as performance evaluations, employee engagement surveys, and benefits administration.
• Assist with employee relations matters, including conducting research, drafting communications, and documenting discussions.
• Resolve submitted cases by employees and other partners through our ticketing system.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives to support the overall goals of the HR department.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
