Description
The Human Resources Generalist provides services and support to the HR Director and the leadership team as it relates to the aspects of Human Resources. This position requires optimal flexibility, organization, motivation, self-directed activities and the ability to grow and expand. The Generalist will consistently and effectively demonstrate skills in critical thinking, planning, conflict resolution, problem solving, customer service, process improvements, and sound decision-making. The Generalist must have demonstrated ability in building highly effective internal and external working relationships. This position also performs administrative duties as needed.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: B.S. or B.A. in Business, Human Resources, or a related degree from an accredited college/university. Previous HR Generalist experience may be substituted for this degree. PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP a plus.
Experience:
Required: Functional and effective Human Resources experience with recruitment, employee relations, retention, policy writing and implementation, LOA, FMLA, and formal training.
Preferred: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist role with a seasoned background in all Human Resources services and body of knowledge.
Preferred: 2 years payroll experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitates weekly orientation
- Maintains all employee benefits
- Maintains upmost confidentiality and protects employee information.
- Effectively perform the duties of recruitment & hiring, new hire processing & on boarding.
- Practices effective listening and coaching skills to achieve success with employee relations.
- Assist with preparation of documents, such as job descriptions, writing and revising policies and procedures, data management and retention.
- Assists with preparation and delivery of new and annual training and educational requirements.
- Works with HRIS program and compiles and analyzes reports.
- Works with HR Director and other HR Generalists with regard to compensation and benefit plans
- Assists with the maintenance of PTO and CME data
- Monitors performance and evaluation program
- Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
- Supports all entities and sub accounts of company.
- Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
- Adheres to all of Advanced Pain Care’s policies and procedures.
- Completes other tasks or responsibilities as assigned.
Skills Required
- B.S. or B.A. in Business, Human Resources, or related degree
- 5 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist role
- 2 years payroll experience
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification
