Yaskawa is searching for a Human Resources Generalist for our Buffalo Grove, IL facilities.   The HR Generalist will be responsible for HR-related duties on a professional level and work closely with senior management in supporting the Associates in this facility. This position will support all facet of HR including recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, policy development and implementation, recruitment/employment and employment law compliance.  In addition to daily HR support, the HR Generalist will work on organization wide projects such as compensation program design, organizational development and HR technology upgrades.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in HR, industrial relations or related field and have a minimum of 5 years of experience with HR in a manufacturing setting supporting exempt and non-exempt positions. Experience with Ultipro/UKG Human Capital Management is preferred but not required.  The ideal candidate will have a proven record of approachability, confidentiality, and ability to problem solve in complex situations. As this is a two shift manufacturing facility, hours flexibility is a huge plus. Another huge plus would be a bilingual candidate (English/Spanish).
