The HR Generalist will have the following duties:
- · Assist in forming Professional Employer Organization (PEO) including research related to various service offerings and setting up systems to implement the PEO requirements
- · Collaborate with hiring managers to create position descriptions, provide initial candidate screening, and act as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview and on-boarding process.
- · Lead orientation sessions that set the groundwork for new hire success
- · Function as the Company’s internal benefits administrator and field benefits questions for team members
- · Implement, refine, and follow checklists to keep a meticulous record of personnel files
- · Maintain a tracker of HR issues referred for expert outside support
- · Collaborate on writing and implementing official policies that are scalable, compliant, and reflective of Fathom5’s Core Values
- · Manage shared office resources and lead projects to improve morale and productivity
- · Coordinate with landlord representatives to schedule building maintenance and repairs

Qualifications
- · BS/BA from an accredited university required. Human Resources, Business Management, or related field strongly preferred.
- · 2-3 years of Human Resources experience required. Work history should demonstrate experience in planning, organizing, and completing assignments, being a self- starter, collaborating to prioritize projects, and being a hard worker.
- · SHRM Department of One, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or other HR certifications highly preferred.
- · Strong written,verbal, and interpersonal communication skills will be demonstrated in the job screening process through writing samples, Excel proficiency examples, and oral interviews.
- · In the future, the candidate may be required to obtain a DoD security clearance.
