Primary Responsibilities
Employee Lifecycle
- Serve as primary HR contact for employees and counsel leadership on people strategies.
- Lead onboarding and offboarding for employees and contractors; maintain accurate records.
- Oversee 90-day and annual reviews; track performance documentation as needed.
- Provide insights and recommendations on staffing, scheduling, and resourcing.
- Manage payroll processes, related platforms, and year-end tax forms.
Culture
- Partner with leadership to foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and trust.
- Drive engagement through recognition, feedback, and employee initiatives.
- Manage PTO and leave policies consistently.
Hiring
- Lead full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
- Manage ATS pipelines, postings, and candidate communication.
- Conduct reference checks, background screenings, and prepare offers.
- Provide recruiting analytics on sources, time-to-fill, and pipeline health.
Policies & Compliance
- Monitor federal and state legislation; advise leadership on updates.
- Own HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook.
Benefits
- Administer health and insurance programs; act as first-line support.
- Evaluate benefits and provide recommendations for renewals and negotiations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field; PHR/SHRM preferred.
- 3–5+ years HR experience in professional services, with marketing communications industry experience strongly preferred.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on process and consistent follow-through.
- Strong understanding of compliance and HR best practices.
