We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to own day-to-day HR administration and corporate compliance for FacilityIG, working on-site from our Tempe, AZ office. The ideal candidate has four or more years of progressive HR experience, a working knowledge of federal and Arizona/Texas employment law, and the judgment and discretion to be the primary point of contact for employees and managers on HR matters.
This role runs the full employee lifecycle — recruiting, onboarding, personnel records, timecards and payroll inputs, benefits, employee relations, and offboarding — and manages business licensing, bonding, and insurance. You will also serve as the company's liaison to our fractional HR partner, insurance brokers, surety providers, and licensing authorities. This is a full-time, hourly position (40 hours per week, weekdays) paying $25.00 – $35.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Join our team as we expand into solar projects across Arizona and beyond. As part of one of the nation's fastest-growing and most innovative energy companies (Inc. 500), you'll build and run the HR operating system that supports our office and field teams.

- Administer benefits enrollment, open enrollment, PTO, leave of absence, and accommodation requests; serve as the employee contact for benefits questions and the liaison to carriers and the broker.
- Serve as first point of contact for employees and managers on HR questions, policy, pay, and benefits; intake and investigate employee complaints and support managers with performance reviews, improvement plans, and disciplinary documentation.
- Maintain the Employee Handbook and HR policies and run offboarding from exit paperwork through account deactivation.
- Manage business and contractor licenses, bonds, state registrations, tax registrations, and annual report filings; keep the renewal and filing calendars current.
- Administer insurance policies and renewals with the broker, maintain the certificate-of-insurance log, and run the workers' compensation program end to end, including claim reporting, return-to-work coordination, and the annual premium audit.
- Respond to unemployment-insurance claims and notices in Arizona and Texas.
