We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support our Hazleton campus of multiple buildings and 200+ employees. Partnering with Operations and the Senior HR Manager, you will build trusted relationships, coach leaders, and make a meaningful difference throughout the employee lifecycle.
What You’ll Do
- Be an HR partner people trust. Build relationships across buildings and shifts, listen to employees, and provide practical guidance on everyday concerns.
- Coach leaders and strengthen teams. Help managers navigate performance, attendance, conflict, and corrective action, partnering with the Senior HR Manager on complex or sensitive matters.
- Bring our culture to life. Support engagement, recognition, communication, and campus events that connect our teams.
- Support employees through important moments. Coordinate leave, accommodations, modified duty, and return-to-work needs with timely communication and follow-through.
- Take ownership of workers’ compensation. Manage claims and coordinate with employees, management, Safety, medical providers, and claims partners.
- Help build our teams. Partner on recruiting, candidate selection, temporary staffing, onboarding, and orientation.
- Strengthen HR practices. Guide the HR Coordinator, deliver supervisor training, audit records, and use HR metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
- Five or more years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations investigations and workers’ compensation.
- Experience supporting an hourly, multi-shift workforce.
- Working knowledge of employment laws, leave administration, accommodation processes, and Pennsylvania employment practices.
- Strong judgment, communication, organization, and discretion in handling confidential matters.
- Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to maintain a regular on-site presence across campus buildings and provide scheduled support across shifts.
