The Human Resources Operations Generalist provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department and serves as a key resource for employee records, HR systems (ADP Lyric), reporting, onboarding, benefits administration, leave management, compliance documentation, and special projects. This position is responsible for ensuring HR processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and confidentially while supporting the overall employee experience and day-to-day operations of the HR function.
HR Administration
- Process employee status changes, including hires, promotions, transfers, compensation changes, and terminations in HRIS and payroll systems.
- Prepare HR-related correspondence, reports, forms, and employee documentation.
- Maintain organizational charts, headcount reports, employee rosters, and other HR metrics.
- Assist with HR department projects, initiatives, and process improvements.
- Ensure strict confidentiality of employee and company information.
Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle Support
- Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including offer documentation, background screening administration, I-9 compliance, and new hire orientation.
- Monitor completion of onboarding requirements and ensure accurate employee records in HRIS system.
- Assist with offboarding activities, including termination documentation, exit processes, and coordination with payroll and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct and track exit interviews as assigned.
HR Systems & Reporting
- Maintain accurate employee information within HRIS, payroll, and other HR-related systems.
- Run recurring and ad hoc reports related to headcount, turnover, open positions, compensation, and workforce metrics.
- Support data audits and assist with system testing and implementations as needed.
- Serve as an HRIS point of contact for employee data questions and administrative support.
Benefits Administration
- Assist employees with benefit enrollment, life event changes, open enrollment, and general benefits-related inquiries.
- Coordinate administration of employee leave programs, including documentation tracking and employee communications.
- Maintain benefit records and partner with payroll and benefits vendors to ensure accurate processing.
- Support annual benefits enrollment activities and employee communications.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure required HR forms, records, and documentation are completed and maintained according to company policy and applicable laws.
- Assist with employment verifications, unemployment claims administration, and record retention requirements.
- Track required compliance trainings and ensure completion records are maintained.
- Support HR audits and compliance initiatives as needed.
Employee Support
- Respond to routine employee questions regarding policies, procedures, benefits, payroll, and HR processes.
- Assist in maintaining HR resources, employee communications, and internal reference materials.
- Support employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and company events.
Special Projects
- Support HR leadership with presentations, reporting, policy updates, audits, department initiatives, and other administrative projects.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to streamline HR processes and enhance employee experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of Human Resources Generalist experience required.
- Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems; ADP experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Benefit and leave management experience required.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Physical & Work Requirements:
- Primarily office-based role located at the Dallas Support Office.
- Ability to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting of office materials up to 20 pounds.
- Minimal travel may be required for meetings, training, or company events.
Skills Required
