This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside another experienced HR Generalist, sharing responsibilities while partnering with leaders and employees across multiple business units. You'll play a critical role in fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance, conducting employee relations investigations, administering leave programs, and supporting organizational initiatives that drive business success.

What You'll Do

As a Human Resources Generalist, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders by providing strategic and day-to-day HR support.

Employee Relations
  • Partner with managers and employees to resolve employee relations issues.
  • Conduct prompt, fair, and well-documented workplace investigations involving:
    • Harassment
    • Discrimination
    • Retaliation
    • Policy violations
    • Attendance
    • Performance concerns
    • Workplace misconduct
  • Recommend appropriate corrective action while minimizing organizational risk.
  • Coach managers on performance management, documentation, conflict resolution, and employee development.
Leave Administration
  • Administer all aspects of leave management, including:
    • Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
    • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) interactive process
    • Workers' Compensation coordination
    • Personal leaves of absence
    • State leave programs
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Communicate leave rights and responsibilities to employees and managers.
HR Operations
  • Partner closely with the existing HR Generalist to provide seamless HR support across the organization.
  • Assist with onboarding, employee transitions, organizational changes, and offboarding.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation in Paycom.
  • Interpret company policies and employment laws.
  • Assist with HR compliance initiatives, audits, and reporting.
Performance Management
  • Support managers with:
    • Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs)
    • Employee coaching
    • Corrective actions
    • Documentation
    • Performance evaluations
HRIS & Data Analytics
  • Utilize Paycom for employee administration and reporting.
  • Create and maintain HR reports and dashboards.
  • Analyze workforce data and identify trends.
  • Audit employee information for accuracy.
Projects
  • Participate in HR initiatives and process improvement projects.
  • Recommend efficiencies that improve the employee experience and operational effectiveness.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of Human Resources Generalist experience.
  • Strong employee relations experience.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting workplace investigations.
  • Extensive knowledge of FMLA administration.
  • Experience with ADA accommodations and the interactive process.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws.
  • Experience coaching managers on employee relations and performance management.
  • Experience working in an HRIS; Paycom experience is strongly preferred.
  • Manufacturing or multi-site HR experience is highly desirable.
Technical SkillsMicrosoft Excel (Intermediate to Advanced)

This position requires strong analytical skills. Candidates should be proficient with:
