POSITION SUMMARY
Under general supervision, this role supports local talent acquisition and key human resources functions. Responsibilities include full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, HR compliance, policy administration, performance management, training and development, and HRIS support. The position serves as a trusted resource to managers and employees, helping attract top talent, support employee engagement, and ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Recruit, screen, and conduct reference checks on job applicants.  (Essential)
  • Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions according to HR objectives. (Essential)
  • Process paperwork (background check & drug test), ensure completeness of new hire folder, and follow up on documents needed. (Essential)
  • Assist in wage and benefit survey analysis; compile EEO and all other HR reporting as needed.  (Essential)
  • Plan onboarding strategies and perform new employees’ orientation to deliver an exceptional early experience.  (Essential)
  • Conduct and analyze exit interviews and make actionable recommendations based on data. (Essential)
  • Assist in employee relations, and as needed, conduct formal and informal counseling of employees, witness, and record employee responses to counseling.  (Essential)
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding company policies, procedures, and programs.  (Essential)
  • Promptly process workforce changes and employee changes of status in HRIS.  (Essential)
  • Oversee, monitor, and update HRIS system to provide up-to-date personnel information and reporting.  
  • Maintain I-9 forms in compliance with Federal laws. (Essential)
  • Coordinate on-site training programs and office events (i.e. lunch and lessons, holiday party). (Essential)
  • Conduct research and analyze data on assigned projects. (Essential)
  • Respond to unemployment notices, wage claims, and employment verifications. (Essential)
  • Responsible for complying with proper internal controls as necessary to conduct job functions and/or carry out responsibilities and/or administrative activities at the company. Oversee, monitor, and update HRIS system to provide up-to-date personnel information and reporting.  (Essential)
  • Comply with EBARA safety policies, including participation in and completion of all required safety training. (Essential)
  • Maintain clean and safe working environment compliant with Ebara safety policies. (Essential)
  • Perform other duties as assigned.   (Non-Essential)

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations, Business, Human Resources, or equivalent experience. Certification in HR a plus.

Experience

  • Four (4) to Eight (8) years of work related experience, preferably in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
  • Detailed knowledge of laws and regulations relating to employment, wages and benefit administration, employee relations, and personnel records.
  • Working knowledge of general policies and procedures. 
  • Strong Customer Relations skills.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Working knowledge of MS Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong relationship building skills with ability to collaborate and work effectively with internal colleagues and customer.    
  • Problem-solving skills and resourceful thinking.
  • Detailed oriented and excellent organizational skills. 
  • Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees

Skills Required

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations, Business, Human Resources, or equivalent experience
