The Human Resource Coordinator will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resource department. The Human Resource Coordinator assists with and facilitates the human resource processes across the enterprise. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function including scheduling, record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS entry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists with recruitment and interview process. Schedules interviews, track the status of candidates in 26HRIS, and responds with follow-up at the end of the recruiting process.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Assists the HRIS Specialist in the annual Affirmative Action Plan reporting by providing accurate and timely Applicant reports for the master file.
- Answers frequently asked questions via HRIS system “Ask Here”, email or live requests from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff.
- Creates, streamlines, and manages HR case dashboards and tracks items.
- Schedules meetings, make travel arrangements, prepares presentations, processes expenses, and bills.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Provides clerical support to the HR department.
- Assists with new hire onboarding and employee exit process.
- Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, and employee recognition events.
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions in a timely manner.
- Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
- Makes photocopies; mails, scans, and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
- Files documents into appropriate employee files.
- Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive employee-related topics
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education / Certifications / Licenses Required
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
Experience Required
- At least 2 years’ related experience required
Other Technical & Non-Technical Skills (i.e communication skills, computer skills, etc)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft suite of software especially Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Ability to leverage Microsoft Teams and SharePoint in a collaborative environment.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Acrobat.
- Proficient in internet research and database programs.

The pay range listed reflects a good-faith estimate of the compensation we expect to offer most candidates for this role. Total compensation includes a competitive base salary and bonus opportunity, with final pay determined by job-related factors such as experience, qualifications, individual performance, and overall company performance.
After internal discussions and market research, the current pay band for this opportunity is $50,000 to $65,000.

This role requires sitting for extended periods of time and the ability to stand and walk as needed throughout the workday. The position involves regular computer-based work and use of standard office equipment. This role may occasionally require lifting and/or moving items weighing up to 25 pounds.
