STV is seeking an HR Coordinator to work with our corporate HR team. This position is hybrid (3 days week/in office) and can be located in one of the following STV offices: Chicago, IL, Jacksonville, FL, Acworth, GA, or Newark, NJ.
The HR Coordinator will operate as part of an HR Operations model to support employees at all levels with inquiries as well as the HR team with day-to-day processes and procedures. The coordinator will also support the talent acquisition team with interview scheduling and other administrative support. This role plays a vital part in the overall success of the HR function and its delivery of people-oriented strategies.
Duties
- Assist employees with HR related inquiries in a timely and customer service focused manner.
- Assist with HR programs and initiatives: talent acquisition, employment processing, compensation, records management, employee relations, and compliance.
- Assists with entering and completing transactions in HRIS System.
- Assists talent acquisition team with interview scheduling, the offer and onboarding process, and other administrative support.
- Ensures data integrity by following quality control measures.
- Participate in the formulation of HR solutions by collecting and analyzing information.
- Complete special projects by carrying out project objective; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling transactions.
- Manage client expectations by communicating project status and issues, resolving concerns.
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
- Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by staying abreast of existing and new legislation.
- Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Continue to develop job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Qualifications
- 4 years of experience as an HR Coordinator/Assistant or Talent Acquisition Administrator
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred, but not required
- Demonstrated skills to include:
- Detail-oriented and responsive, ensuring closed-loop communication
- Problem-solving abilities with a process improvement mindset
- Inquisitive and resourceful
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Forms)
- Experience in the following is a plus
- Workday or Dayforce HCM
- AEC or professional services industry
