Job Summary
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to business leaders and acts as a liaison between HR and designated business units. The HRBP is responsible for aligning HR strategies with business goals, enhancing organizational performance, managing talent initiatives, and supporting leaders in driving employee engagement, development, and culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational objectives.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on leadership, performance management, talent development, and Team Member relations.
- Analyze HR metrics and data to inform decisions and recommend solutions to improve workforce performance.
- Lead and support key HR initiatives such as workforce planning, successionplanning, diversity & inclusion, and change management.
- Manage employee relations matters, conduct investigations, resolve conflicts, and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
- Collaborate with centers of excellence (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation) to deliver comprehensive HR support.
- Support organizational change efforts and ensure effective communication and employee engagement.
- Promote a high-performance culture through initiatives that encourage continuous development, accountability, and feedback.
- Participate in or lead HR projects and contribute to the overall improvement of HR services.
- Onboarding/Offboarding & ensuring transfers are processed and completed accurately and timely.
- Ensures that daily on-sight visits are strategic, planned and follow the pre-determined scorecard to measure human capital initiatives, policy and metrics are reviewed.
- Pre-determined weekly schedule is built at least two weeks in advanced and communicated with Director and store leadership.
- Support all HR Business Partner and Center of Excellence teams for additional organizational initiatives.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field preferred.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) preferred.
Experience:
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a business partner or strategic HR role.
- Experience working in a complex, fast-paced business environment.
- Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
Skills:
- Strong business acumen and ability to align HR strategies with business needs.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and consulting skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in HRIS (Paylocity) and Microsoft Office Suite.
