ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide guidance and support to managers in human resources management, including performance management, compensation, disciplinary actions, terminations, compliance with labor laws, regulations, and other HR-related matters;
- Interpret and administer HR policies, standards, and procedures to ensure alignment with the company’s vision, mission, and values, as well as compliance with legal requirements;
- Offer strategic advice on resource needs and collaborate with a talent acquisition specialist on staffing-related matters;
- Support the international mobility advisor with immigration cases for current and future employees;
- Assist with onboarding and integration of new employees;
- Write and update HR policies as needed;
- Actively participate in the planning and coordination of the performance management process and annual salary reviews;
- Contribute to workplace health and safety initiatives;
- Monitor and assess the work climate and employee relations at the Montreal studio;
- Respond to routine inquiries from managers and employees;
- Participate in global HR projects in collaboration with the HR team and other departments at Moment Factory.
YOUR JOURNEY INCLUDES
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field;
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR generalist;
- Experience in the visual effects industry (films, advertising, etc.) and technology is a significant asset;
- Advanced proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written (you will regularly communicate with English-speaking colleagues in this role);
- Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Keynote, etc.) and Google Suite.
