Human Resources Administrative Assistant
Starting Pay Range $19.10 - $22.47 per hour
Job Summary: The Human Resources Administrative Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources Manager and HR team. This position performs data entry, records management, document processing, and other administrative tasks; assists employees and leadership with routine HR forms and requests; and supports HR projects and departmental processes as needed.

Education/Experience/License/Certification:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of administrative assistant experience in an office setting, preferably in an HR office.
- Associate’s degree in business or office management preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance as required by law
Required Travel: Occasional travel may be required including day-to-day local travel.

- Strong interpersonal and excellent customer services skills with the ability to respond positively to difficult situations.
- Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft products including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access required.
- A demonstrated ability to manage and organize multiple projects to meet critical deadlines.
- Previous experience managing file systems and databases required.
- Previous experience working with an HR Information System preferred.
- Experience working in an office that required managing sensitive information and confidential files.
- A demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize work assignments and be a self-starter.
- Experience with interpreting and applying policies and procedures.
- Previous experience researching and solving problems.

- Adhere to the guidelines and procedures of Pueblo Community Health Center, Inc.
- Support the Human Resources Manager and HR team with day-to-day administrative and operational HR functions.
- Maintain accurate and confidential electronic employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation in accordance with organizational policies and applicable requirements.
- Maintain digital filing systems for employee, recruitment, onboarding, training, and other HR-related documentation.
- Assist with onboarding, recruitment, and tracking required employment documentation.
- Assist with entering, updating, and maintaining accurate employee information in HRIS and other HR-related systems.
- Assist employees and managers with routine HR questions and requests and refer more complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate HR team member.
- Assist with employee record requests, employment verification, and other routine HR documentation requests.
- Assist with maintaining required federal, state, and local employment law postings and HR compliance documentation.
- Assist with tracking employee certifications, licenses, required training, and other employment requirements as assigned.
- Prepare routine monthly employee reports, lists, spreadsheets, correspondence, and other HR-related documents.
- Assist with HR audits, record reviews, and data collection to support compliance and organizational needs.
- Utilize Microsoft Office, Outlook, HRIS, and other HR systems to maintain records, prepare reports, manage information, and support HR processes.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise appropriate discretion when handling employee information, personnel records, and other sensitive HR matters.
- Assist with HR projects, process improvements, policy updates, and other departmental initiatives as assigned.
- Provide backup administrative support to other members of the Human Resources team as needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, organization, recordkeeping, and overall efficiency within the Human Resources department.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
