About the Role

As an HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support and guidance to the Igloo’s India office. Your primary focus will be on talent management, employer branding, and HR operations. You will collaborate with business leaders and HR colleagues to ensure the implementation of effective HR strategies and initiatives that align with the company's goals and values. This role requires a strong understanding of HR best practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence and drive changes.

Responsibilities:

Talent Development and Performance Management

  • Design and implement talent development programs to nurture and enhance employee skills.
  • Collaborate with managers to create individual development plans and career paths.
  • Facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback sessions.
  • Identify high-potential employees and develop succession plans for key positions.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on effective performance management techniques.

Employer Branding and Employee Engagement 

  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance our employer brand and improve employee engagement.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Create and maintain a compelling Employee Value Proposition (EVP) that aligns with our company culture and values.
  • Manage internal and external communication channels to promote our employer brand.
  • Organize employee engagement initiatives, events, and programs to foster a positive work environment.

HR Operations

  • Provide day-to-day HR operational support to employees and managers, addressing inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment operations, including candidate sourcing, interview scheduling, offer generation, and new hire onboarding.
  • Oversee end-to-end monthly payroll processing, ensuring accurate calculation of salaries, statutory deductions, benefits, and timely vendor/bank disbursements.
  • Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
  • Manage employee data, HRIS systems, and maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Support the implementation of HR initiatives, such as compensation and benefits programs, employee engagement surveys, and diversity and inclusion efforts.
  • Collaborate with the Regional HR team to develop and deliver training programs to enhance HR knowledge and skills.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience (6 to 8 years) as an HR Business Partner or HR Operations lead, with a strong focus on talent management, employer branding, and operational excellence.
  • Hands-on experience in managing day-to-day HR operations.
  • Strong understanding of performance management, talent development, succession planning, and end-to-end employee lifecycle processes.
  • Familiarity with employer branding concepts, candidate outreach strategies, and multi-channel communication.
  • Demonstrated experience in content creation, HR policy drafting, and internal employee communications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to provide strategic yet practical guidance to managers and employees on complex HR issues.
  • Proactive mindset with a strong track record of working independently, optimizing workflows, and managing multiple operational projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Master’s degree
  • 6 to 8 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Operations Lead
  • Strong focus on talent management, employer branding, and operational excellence
