Mission / Team

HdG has already a Human and organizational factors team, 20 peoples based in France, dedicated to factories and mastering methodologies and deliverables contents.

As part of our expansion in UK and to support an industrial client at Broughton. We are looking to strengthen our teams by recruiting a Human and Organizational Factors and Ergonomist consultant (F/M).

Your main role will be to integrate human and organizational factors into the design and assessment of technical and organizational systems in the aerospace factories.

Your tasks:

• Works as part of a multidisciplinary team (engineers, quality, safety, etc.);

• Performs ergonomics / HOF diagnosis;

• Performs analysis of activity - workstation - organization (trades, processes, tools);

• Formalizes ergonomics and user needs requirements;

• Defines functional specifications;

• Analyses HOF risks and identifies root causes for incidents, accidents, human errors or quality issues;

• Defines action plans;

• Manages creativity workshops;

• Conducts User tests on industrial systems (jig and tool);

• Leads the development of a human factors activities; provides training and promotes the importance of human factors engineering.

Master in Ergonomic, Human Factors or related field (e.g., cognitive neuroscience, industrial/organizational psychology, or ergonomics).

At least 1-4 years related experience. Industrial / factories related experience required.

Skills 

Must have strong consulting skills, strong presentation skills. Fluency in written and spoken English. French language skills could be a plus.

Recognized for your ability to explain and promote HOF and communicate, your interpersonal skills and your ability to work as part of a team, you will be able to make proposals, be autonomous and be convinced of the added value of people in the control of systems.

Recruitment process

Employment contract

Temporary contract => 2 months // Full time

Location : Broughton (UK)

Expected starting date: ASAP (accepted notice)

 Wage: 28-35 K£ => based on the profile and experience (discussion during the interview)

Skills Required

  • Master’s degree in Ergonomics, Human Factors, or a related field such as cognitive neuroscience, industrial or organizational psychology
  • At least 1–4 years of related professional experience
  • Industrial or factory-related experience
  • Strong consulting skills
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • French language skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
