The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for all on-site HR activities. Skills and knowledge will encompass many areas of HR, including employee relations, investigations, payroll, FMLA, Work Comp, recruitment and on-boarding. Under the guidance of the HR Manager, the Generalist will run the daily functions of the department and support management in company initiatives. This position will perform a wide variety of functions as a member of the HR Team, and those duties will include sensitive, confidential matters and will require the appropriate handling of same.
Qualifications:
- Requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
- Requires three to five years of related experience or training, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated high proficiency with all programs in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience using an HRIS database system.
- On-the-job training may be required.
