Your role at Baxter:

Develop and implement Human Resources policies and programs that support the strategies of the Manufacturing Plant with the purpose of providing support to associates and team members. Being the strategic business partner for the operations and functionals areas. Together with de line managers, the HRBP work on setting priorities, driving values, and delivering business results.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Design Leadership Programs, according to the results of the diagnosis of detected needs.
  • Support directors, managers, and supervisors in the Talent Management process: Definition of Annual Goals, Performance Management System, Training and Development Plans, Organizational Inventory and Succession Plans and development plans for High Potential staff, to ensure a robust talent pipeline.
  • Evaluate the different learning and development resources offered, to recommend the best options for clients.
  • Lead the Change Management Program, according to business needs.
  • Ensure company workforce has the right size, shape, cost, and agility for the future.
  • Provide guidance on the creation and implementation of HR processes and policies.
  • Be up to date on employment laws and regulation, as well as other legal requirements regarding people management to help leaders ensure compliance.
  • Help line managers deal with organizational, people and change- related issues.
  • Conduct day to day performance management guidance to line managers (coaching, mentoring, career planning, coaching etc.).
  • Work together with the management and personnel to solve conflicts and help facilitate positive employee relations, maintain a good working environment, build morale, and decrease unwanted turnover.
  • Provide advice and suggestions for culture related initiative, such as cultural transformation.
  • Promote and implement rewards and recognition interventions to increase bottom-line results and employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with HR team members on implementing innovative and inclusive recruitment strategies.
  • Maintain a future proof compensation and benefits strategy.
  • Assures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations such as EHS, Quality, labors, finance, and Operational Excellent programs.
  • Learn and practice basic ergonomic principles to reduce job-related discomfort and injuries.
  • Be knowledgeable of all the associated risks and environmental aspects of his/her area and support the identification of new risks.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, business administration, or related field (required).
  • 5 years or more of human resource professional experience.
  • Master's degree desirable.
  • Pharmaceutical manufacturing industry background desired.
  • Knowledge and/ experience with local law and, tax and social security regulations.
  • Ability to set up and track relevant metrics and KPI’s and use them to drive business results.
  • Emotional Intelligence.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and developing good work relationship across the organization.
  • Good change management and project management capabilities.
  • Critical Thinking.
  • Customer Focus.
  • Bilingual:  Oral and written communication in Intermediate English.
