Lead, Technical Recruiter III - Network Operations
JOB SCOPE
The Lead, Technical Recruiter III role is a part of the Network Operations Talent Acquisition team and is responsible for sourcing & recruiting engineering and technology candidates to support our COEs in Denver CO, St. Louis MO, Austin, TX & Stamford CT.
This position can sit in either office located in Stamford, CT or Greenwood Village, CO (Denver Area)
This position will be responsible for developing and executing successful search programs in support of higher level technical positions (Director and above levels), niche roles, and hard to fill positions. This role is utilized when majority of requisitions require relationship-based recruiting, creative and strategic sourcing methods. This role requires in-depth technical recruiting/staffing experience and serves as a Recruitment subject matter expert and mentor for less experienced recruiters.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide strategic support by assisting with or leading key programs, projects, committees, and process improvement initiatives
- Partner with business unit and recruiting leaders to advise on strategic issues (e.g., workforce planning, labor market intelligence, forecasting, social media approach)
- Analyze hiring process to identify gaps, redundancy, or waste, and provide initial recommendations for improvement
- Serve as Recruiting Team Lead and/or back-up to Talent Acquisition Manager, as needed
- Coordinate and manage hiring events
- Lead training as needed (e.g., behavioral interview training)
- Mentor less experienced recruiters
- Engage in complex or high-stakes negotiations with hiring managers, HR Managers and applicants, while managing compensation expectations and complex salary negotiations
- Expound on the importance of recruiting the right candidate for an identified business outcome
- Identify how changes in business strategy and goals impact talent needs and recruiting strategy
- Make recommendations based on how positions create value to the business
- Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining result
- Stay in tune and anticipate long-term business goals of the organization
- Perform other duties as requested
BASIC / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience or equivalent training, education, and experience
- Minimum of 7+ years working experience in talent acquisition or recruitments
ADDITIONAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Highly skilled at recruiting for the latest engineering trends, frameworks, programming languages, and databases
- A deep understanding of creative sourcing strategies to find those diamonds in the rough
- When a hiring manager says things like, "Java, Springboot, Angular" or "Ruby/Python scripting, pen-testing, cloud security" or "DevOps, Big Data, Infrastructure as code" or "Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker", you don't need to search those things.
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner

- Ability to create long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, and large ATS platforms
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

The pay for this position has a minimum of $76,800.00. The actual salary offer may be higher as we carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
