We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HR Testing Lead to oversee testing activities for our HR systems, primarily Workday (WD) and ServiceNow (SNOW). This role is ideal for an internal candidate with a strong understanding of HR processes, testing methodologies, and enterprise systems. The HR Testing Lead will ensure that all system changes and enhancements are thoroughly tested and meet business requirements before deployment. It’s a key role in ensuring the reliability and effectiveness of critical HR systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end testing efforts for HR systems, with a focus on Workday and ServiceNow across multiple HR projects.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to define test strategies, plans, and acceptance criteria.
- Design, document, and execute test cases for system updates, enhancements, and integrations.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and support business users during testing cycles.
- Identify, document, and track defects; work with developers and vendors to resolve issues.
- Maintain test documentation and support audit and compliance requirements.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to other testers and HR team members involved in testing activities.
- Ensure quality is embedded throughout the HR systems development lifecycle.
- Define and enforce testing standards and best practices
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics and testing progress to stakeholders.
- Participate in release planning and risk assessment activities.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of PPG Workday processes and ServiceNow HR Service Delivery.
- Familiarity with HR processes and policies within the PPG HR framework.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple testing initiatives and deadlines simultaneously.
- Understanding of HR strategy and alignment with organizational goals.
- Excellent collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead by example and foster a culture of quality and accountability.
- Understanding of HR strategy and familiarity with PPG HR processes.
- Working knowledge of Workday (WD) processes and ServiceNow (SNOW).
