Salary Range: $50k - $58k


Your Role


As a Human Resources Representative, you will serve as a trusted team member and catalyst, steering our academic community toward excellence. With your visionary and creative guidance, you’ll weave the threads of culture, build bridges of collaboration, and foster an environment where educators and staff alike can flourish.


Your mission is to empower our faculty, staff, and administrators through exceptional HR services, ensuring they have the support they need to excel.

What You’ll Do


  • Infuse our Lasallian Catholic values into HR policies and practices, creating an environment where each individual’s uniqueness contributes to collective growth.
  • Craft an environment where growth, diversity, and inclusivity flourish by shaping HR policies that reflect our values.
  • Foster positive relationships by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage the recruitment process by posting job openings, coordinating interviews, and collaborating with hiring managers to identify suitable candidates.
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires through orientation programs and necessary paperwork.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other related matters.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and regulations to ensure HR policies and practices are compliant and up-to-date.
  • Support performance appraisal processes, provide guidance on setting performance goals, and assist in addressing performance-related issues.
  • Collaborate with departments to identify growth areas, empowering our team with transformative training and development programs.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Mediate disputes and conflicts, striving to create a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Prepare regular HR reports and analytics, helping leadership make informed decisions to elevate our community.
  • Contribute to initiatives that enhance employee engagement, morale, and satisfaction.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives, such as diversity and inclusion efforts, policy updates, and process improvements.

Physical Demands

 

Sedentary work. Sedentary work involves lifting no more than 10 pounds at a time and occasionally lifting or carrying articles like docket files, ledgers, and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required occasionally, and other sedentary criteria are met.

What You Will Need


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, or Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources. In lieu of an HR major/concentration, only a Master degree in Human Resources is acceptable. Candidates who do not possess the required education will not be considered for employment.
  • Office experience preferred
  • No HR experience needed. Please see education requirements.

  • Familiarity in HR software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
