HR Assistant
Job Summary:
The HR/Payroll Assistant at DELLA Auto Group is responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources Manager. This is a hands-on role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. The HR/payroll Assistant will work closely with the HR Manager at all levels to support the company's human resources/payroll needs. This is a full-time hourly position in the auto industry, located in Queensbury, New York.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain employee records, including new hire paperwork and personnel files
- Process employee payroll
- Assist with employee benefits enrollment and changes
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide support for HR/Payroll related issues
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to employment practices
- Support HR Manager with special projects as needed
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree or HR certification preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in HR or a related field
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in the auto industry is a plus
