HR Operations Manager

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a HR Operations Manager to join our HR shared service centre (SCC).

In this role, you will lead the Human Resources Shared Services Center (SSC) for the Kuala Lumpur branch office, ensuring seamless HR operations and fostering a positive employee experience. You will optimize HR processes, manage recruitment, enhance training programs, and act as a key liaison between the headquarters and the local team. This position requires a proactive and adaptable professional who can navigate cross-cultural challenges and drive HR initiatives aligned with business goals.

1. Operational Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of the Kuala Lumpur SSC, optimizing processes such as employee onboarding, offboarding, and file management to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

2. Talent Acquisition: Utilize local recruitment resources to source and hire suitable talents, managing the end-to-end recruitment process to meet branch office needs.

3. Training & Development: Collaborate with headquarters to enhance the training system, organizing and conducting programs such as new employee orientation and job skills training to improve employee capabilities.

4. Employee Liaison: Serve as the bridge between headquarters and the local team, ensuring smooth communication and alignment of HR policies and practices.

5. Employee Relations: Build and maintain positive employee relations, planning team-building and cultural exchange activities to boost team cohesion and morale.

6. Policy Communication: Act as the spokesperson for local HR policies, addressing employee inquiries and providing timely feedback to headquarters.

7. Reporting & Analysis: Regularly compile and report HR dynamics of the Kuala Lumpur branch office to headquarters, offering data-driven insights for decision-making.

8. System Improvement: Assist in refining local HR systems to ensure compliance and alignment with business development needs.

Professional Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field.

• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in human resources.

Technical Competencies

• Proficient in operating office software and HR systems.

• Fluent in English (working language); knowledge of Malay is a strong advantage.

• Strong understanding of HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee relations.
