General Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Operations Manager to join BeiGene in Europe at a time where we are in our infancy and rapidly growing. The HR Operations Manager is key to the management of people processes and data across Europe and New Markets. In this role, you will support the HR team by participating in the design and management of the workflows supporting Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Total Rewards, and HR Business Partner activities, as well as partnering with cross functional teams such as IT, Finance and Legal. You will also work with the HRIS team to provide expertise in the design of ongoing enhancements and process improvements related to the employee lifecycle in Workday.
The HR Operations Manager will ensure that employee records are accurately and efficiently compiled, reviewed, analyzed, submitted and secured in Workday and related downstream systems. This role is a critical asset in the flow of information and process necessary to recruit, hire, and onboard new employees as well as maintain employees through their life cycle at BeiGene.
Essential functions of the job:

Serve as a first point of contact for employees, managers and HR Business Partners in multiple countries in Europe and New Markets, including France, providing high quality HR advice and guidance with a focus on excellent customer service on a wide range of HR activities and processes

Manage core HR processes including on-boarding, off-boarding, absence management and benefit administration

Responsible for creating new starter offer documentation and for processing all HR associated onboarding activities

Provide subject matter expertise in HR processes, policies and systems

Support annual HR processes including compensation planning and talent management

Participate in the design and testing when implementing new Workday modules and enhancements

Create and maintain high quality SOPs

Troubleshoot system issues to ensure smooth processes

Perform data entry across a range of HR systems

Manage employee files and related documentation in HR systems

Ensure compliance with appropriate data protection legislation at all times

Liaise with internal departments and third-party service providers as necessary

Contribute to wider projects and initiatives within the HR Operations team

Identify process improvements by identifying issues, process delays and quality problems and recommending solutions
Essential skills and experience
-
Bachelor’s degree
-
5+ years of relevant experience is required
-
Must have significant, relevant experience working in HR Operations in EMEA and a deep expertise in France

Business fluency in English and French is required.

Must have strong working knowledge of Workday HR modules including Core HR, Recruiting, Onboarding

Must have an interest and understanding of general HR policies and procedures

Will have a strong customer service orientation while maintaining a high level of integrity and confidentiality

Must have a growth mindset and be able to re-think our approach to the way we work and want to create better experiences for our customers

Must possess solid verbal, written, interpersonal and communication skills

Must be able to identify critical situations and take action to escalate where necessary

Must possess strong Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
