Job Description

The HR Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of HR operational services, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and excellence in HR processes.   This role is leading a team of  HR professionals to deliver high-quality support across the employee lifecycle. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Leadership & People Management: 

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of  HR professionals, promoting a high-performance culture. 

  • Allocate workloads, set priorities, and monitor team performance against SLA/KPIs. 

  • Conduct regular one-to-ones, team meetings, and performance reviews. 

HR Operations Oversight: 

  • Ensure smooth execution of HR processes including onboarding,  all employee lifecycle processes. 

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and employee experience. 

  • Develop HR dashboards and reporting for all SLA/KPIs.  Monitor on a regular basis identifying areas for improvement. 

HRIS & Workday: 

  • Oversee HRIS administration and ensure data integrity. 

  • Train HR team and managers on Workday functionality and best practices. 

  • HR Reporting & Analytics: 

  • Produce and analyse HR reports. 

  • Provide insights to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making. 

Policy & Compliance: 

  • Ensure adherence to employment legislation and company policies. 

  • Maintain confidentiality and data protection standards. 

Stakeholder Engagement: 

  • Act as a key point of contact for HR queries from managers and employees. 

  • Engage and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the business to ensure HR operations align with strategic priorities. 

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of HR operations with business needs. 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in HR operations management or similar role. 

  • Strong leadership and people management skills. 

  • Working knowledge of HR Systems (Workday) 

  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. 

  • Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices. 

Personal Attributes 

  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach. 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
