HR Operations Manager
Description
As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an HR Operations & Compensation Manager to join our team.
Reporting to the HR Director, this person will lead HR operations, HRIS, and payroll for our teams in France, the US, Japan, Singapore, and South Korea, while also overseeing compensation and HR controlling activities.
HR Operations & HRIS
- Play a leading role in the implementation, deployment, and ongoing optimization of a new HRIS, ensuring smooth adoption across all regions.
- Define and drive the HR operations roadmap, identifying opportunities to streamline, automate, and scale processes as the company grows.
- Oversee all HR administrative processes (contracts, certificates, onboarding/offboarding, employee lifecycle events) and ensure they are efficient, consistent, and compliant across geographies.
- Act as the key reference for HR systems, data architecture, and workflows, partnering with IT and external vendors as needed.
- Lead cross-functional projects aimed at improving the employee experience and increasing operational efficiency within the HR function.
- Ensure HR data integrity, governance, and reporting standards across the organization.
Payroll & HR Administration
- Guarantee accurate and compliant payroll for approximately 150 employees (primarily management profiles) across France, the United States, Japan, Singapore, and South Korea.
- Define the payroll strategy and roadmap in coordination with the HRIS roadmap, driving continuous improvement and harmonization across countries.
- Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements in each jurisdiction.
Compensation & HR Controlling
- Contribute to the tracking of key HR and compensation metrics (salary structures, payroll cost evolution, headcount, etc.) and produce dashboards to support decision-making.
- Support budget planning for workforce and payroll in partnership with Finance.
- Help harmonize compensation practices across regions and ensure internal consistency.
- Partner with HR Business Partners on salary review and bonus campaigns.
- Lead ad hoc studies and audits related to compensation and workforce planning.
Team Leadership
- Manage and develop a team of 2 HR Officers, providing guidance, coaching, and supporting their professional growth.
As the company grows, this role may evolve to include collaboration with our investment teams and support to our portfolio companies globally.
Requirements
- 10+ years' experience in HR operations, HRIS, and payroll in an international and fast-paced environment, with additional exposure to compensation and HR controlling.
- Proven track record leading or significantly contributing to HRIS implementation projects.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes and employment regulations (France and/or multi-country experience a plus).
- Hands-on experience with HRIS and payroll systems, as well as HR data analysis.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a passion for process optimization and continuous improvement.
