Purpose of the job
The HR Manager is responsible to lead the development and implementation of an organization-wide human resource strategy that aligns with the organization’s vision and its current and long-term business objectives. Ensure that some strategic activities, as delegated by the ICEE HR Director, are implemented. Such activities include HC strategy, Talent Management, Career Development, Employee relationship and operations (Payroll), Employee Engagement, compensation and benefits program etc. HR Manager is part of affiliate Lead Team and serve as a contributor to strategic planning and decision-making for the affiliate.
Key Responsibilities
HR Department
- Works on the implementation and administration of Human Resources policies, programs and practices.
- Leads several development of department goals, objectives and systems as delegated by the HRD
- Monitors specific elements in the Human Resources annual budget.
- Liaises with ICEE HR Sr. Director to implement strategic goals
- Keeps contact with HR related authorities.
- Fleet management, performance review and ensure proper operations
Staffing and recruitment
- Serves as leader in staffing practices and procedures necessary to recruit and retain an effective workforce.
Training and Development
- Co-develops and implements training and development initiatives to address current capabilities and future training needs, including on-the-job operational training, department special training, management development, new hire orientation and on boarding.
Performance Management
- Plans, develops, implements and administers programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align staff with the strategic goals of the company.
- Assists with the implementation of a performance management program
Compensation and Benefits
- Coordinates monthly payroll process
- Communicates compensation strategies and structures that align with company goals.
- Helps monitor benefits environment, operates flex benefit system and maintains other benefit elements
- Takes part in salary surveys according to global requirments
- Reponsible for planning and budgeting the compensation and benefit for the organisation
- Operation of recognition programmes
Health & Safety
- Ensures compliance with legislated reporting requirements and due diligence/liability requirements is met.
Organizational Planning and Development
- Participates in organizational planning that evaluates structure, job design, and personnel resources for the company. Ensure optimal staffing levels.
- Participates in process of organizational development that addresses issues such as succession planning, workforce development, key employee retention, organization design, workflow efficiency and change management.
Employee Relations
- Formulates and recommends Human Resources policies and objectives for the company that will establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation and that comply with policies, procedures, programs and laws.
- Develops strong working relationships with other leaders, management and staff, providing advice, guidance, and coaching as needed.
Labour law
- Drives changes according to the Labour Code and legal environment
- Manages legal cases, litigations, keeps contact with external legal counsel
- Takes part in investigations
Operational activities
- Maintains master data of employees, as well as SAP
- Onboarding, exit and internal mover process management
Skills
Education, training and/or experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Business with a focus on Human Resources or equivalent
- University degree with a focus on Human Resources / Org Behavior / Psychology / or equivalent; MBA is a plus
- Generalist background with broad knowledge of employment, compensation, organizational planning, employee relations, and training and development.
