Position Summary
The HR Intern will support key initiatives within the department while gaining hands-on experience in a professional corporate environment. This internship provides an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real business challenges, collaborate with experienced professionals, and develop valuable career skills.
Internship Project
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with recruiting activities, including reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and supporting candidate communications.
- Support onboarding and orientation activities for new hires.
- Help coordinate employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events.
- Maintain confidential HR records and assist with data entry and reporting.
- Participate in HR projects focused on talent acquisition, employee experience, and process improvement.
- Assist with internship program activities and networking events.
- Partner with HR team members on special projects and presentations.
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources team as needed.
Qualifications
Required
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
- Rising sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Preferred
- Previous leadership experience through campus organizations, volunteer work, or employment.
- Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
- Experience working on team projects and collaborating with others.
