About the Role

Join our dynamic HR team in Chengdu as a Human Resources Intern and gain real-world exposure to global HR operations across the APAC region. This internship is designed for a proactive learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to talent acquisition, employee experience, and HR administration. You’ll work alongside experienced HR professionals and support initiatives that directly impact our people and culture, all while developing valuable skills in a multinational setting.

The ideal candidate is organized, a quick learner, and passionate about working with people, with strong bilingual communication skills in English and Chinese, as well as a strong commitment to confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

As an HR Intern, you will support a wide range of HR activities, including:

  • Talent Acquisition
    • Post job openings on internal and external career platforms.
    • Screen resumes and applications against role requirements.
    • Coordinate interview logistics between candidates and hiring managers.
    • Serve as a point of contact for applicants to ensure a positive candidate experience.
    • Develop and maintain impactful, long-term relationships with key university stakeholders, including career services,  faculty, alumni, and professional student organizations.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for target universities, fostering mutual collaboration aligned with the company’s workforce strategy.
  • Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle Support
    • Assist with pre-onboarding and onboarding processes for new hires.
    • Accurately input and maintain employee data in Workday.
    • Help organize employee files to ensure compliance and completeness.
  • HR Operations & Engagement
    • Provide day-to-day administrative support (e.g., filing, data entry, document management).
    • Contribute to planning and executing employee engagement initiatives (e.g., wellness programs, appreciation events).
    • Support cross-functional HR projects aimed at improving efficiency and the overall employee experience.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Discreet, reliable, and committed to upholding data privacy and confidentiality.
