Mission Brief: Build Lenskart's People Operations in Thailand

Lenskart is one of Asia's fastest-growing omnichannel eyewear companies. As our Thailand business continues to expand, we are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to independently manage the country's HR operations and employee experience.

This role will own the complete employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding through payroll coordination, employee relations, performance support, HR administration, compliance, and offboarding. As the primary HR partner for Thailand, you will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless employee experience while driving operational excellence, statutory compliance, and efficient HR processes that enable business growth.

🔑 Core Mandate

  1. Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Own the end-to-end employee lifecycle, ensuring a seamless employee experience from recruitment through to offboarding.

  • Manage recruitment coordination, onboarding, employee movements, and exit processes.

  • Prepare and maintain employment documentation and employee records.

  • Support employee relations, performance management, and engagement initiatives.

  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are consistently implemented.

2. HR Operations & Administration

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations and administrative activities for the Thailand business.

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.

  • Coordinate HR documentation and administrative processes.

  • Support office administration and manage HR-related vendors.

  • Ensure HR processes remain efficient, compliant, and audit-ready.

3. Payroll, Benefits & HR Compliance

  • Coordinate monthly payroll and employee benefits administration to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.

  • Work closely with payroll vendors and regional stakeholders on payroll inputs.

  • Administer employee benefits, leave management, and insurance programmes.

  • Support salary revisions, incentive payouts, and compensation changes.

  • Address employee queries related to payroll and benefits.

4. Employment Law & Governance

  • Ensure HR practices comply with Thai labour laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.

  • Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR-related matters.

  • Monitor regulatory updates and recommend policy improvements where required.

  • Coordinate statutory submissions and support internal and external audits.

  • Maintain strong HR governance and compliance standards.

5. HR Systems & IT Coordination

  • Coordinate HR systems and employee access throughout the employee lifecycle.

  • Manage employee account creation, onboarding, offboarding, and system access.

  • Partner with IT to ensure timely provisioning of equipment and access.

  • Maintain accurate employee data across HR systems.

  • Support HR technology enhancements and process improvement initiatives.

6. Business Partnership & Continuous Improvement

  • Act as the primary HR point of contact for employees and managers in Thailand.

  • Partner with Regional HR, Finance, Operations, and external vendors to support business needs.

  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, employee experience, and operational efficiency.

  • Support regional HR initiatives and cross-functional projects.

The Essentials

  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist, HR Operations, or HR & Administration professional with ownership of the employee lifecycle.

  • Fluency in both Thai and English (written and spoken) is essential, with the ability to effectively communicate with local and regional stakeholders.

  • Strong knowledge of Thai labour laws, employment regulations, and statutory compliance.

  • Hands-on experience in recruitment, payroll coordination, employee relations, and HR operations.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or HR Operations professional owning the employee lifecycle.
  • Fluency in Thai and English (written and spoken).

  • Hands-on experience in recruitment coordination, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Experience coordinating payroll and working with payroll vendors.
  • Experience administering employee benefits, leave management, and insurance programs.
  • Experience with HR systems, HR data management, and IT coordination for employee access.
  • Strong organizational, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently.
