Job Summary
The HR Coordinator is an entry-level role that provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team. This position is ideal for someone looking to start a career in HR and gain hands-on experience across new hire onboarding, HRIS systems, benefits administration, and HR compliance. The HR Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations and a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate new hire onboarding activities
Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and personnel files
Support benefits administration by assisting with enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries
Help prepare HR documents such as corporate training, employee handbook updates, and policy revisions
Assist with employee engagement initiatives, training coordination, and company events
Assist with reporting, audits, and HR metrics as requested
Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, maintaining office supply inventory, break room inventory control, and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Quantifiable interest in Human Resources (prior experience, internship, education, certification, etc.)
