As an HR Operations/HR Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations, supporting our people, and driving a positive employee experience. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in HR coordination and operations, with a thorough understanding of HR best practices and employment regulations. You will work closely with the HR team to manage various HR functions, from employee lifecycle processes to payroll support and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations & Coordination
- Manage and oversee day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, e mployee records, and HR systems.
- Manage & o ptimize Background Verification (BGV) operations by implementing timely touch base with vendors; reduce verification turnaround time and improve accuracy rates, resulting in enhanced client /employee satisfaction .
- Ensure timely processing of HR documents, policies, and data in compliance with company and legal requirements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, IT, and Payroll, to ensure smooth employee transitions and data accuracy.
- Collaborate with the Payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including employee data updates and leave management.
- Support benefits administration, including enrollment and addressing employee inquiries.
HR Data & Systems Management
- Maintain accurate HR records, manage the HRIS, and ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
- Generate regular reports on HR metrics, including turnover, attendance, and engagement, to support data-driven decision-making.
- Provide HR metrics and insights for leadership to support workforce planning and strategic HR initiatives.
Compliance & Policy Management
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including maintaining accurate employee records.
- Assist in developing and updating HR policies and procedures to align with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Support the implementation of HR policies and provide guidance to employees as needed.
Employee Relations & Support
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing timely responses and guidance.
- Collaborate with HRBPs and managers to promote a positive and inclusive work culture.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience in HR operations, coordination, or generalist roles, preferably in a mid-sized or technology-driven product company.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Workday will be added advantage
- Strong understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
