We are seeking a dedicated and proactive HR Coordinator to join our team in Costa Rica.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and efficient administrative support to staff.
  • Address HR queries as they arise daily.
  • Coordinate and delegate queries to the appropriate team members.
  • Assist with maintaining employee records and support onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes.
  • Support the management of various employee benefits programs, such as group insurance and pensions, ensuring benefit platforms are up to date.
  • Collaborate with the payroll and operations teams to address payroll changes and benefit queries.
  • Liaise with contractors and suppliers as needed.
  • Assist the People Team with planning offsite events.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as they arise.
  • Ensure we comply with Free Trade Zone Regulations (customs paperwork, local assets and tagging, audits, access visits).
  • Assist with IT equipment orders, import, and changes of equipment for employees and undertake control and registration of movements of IT assets as part of the Free Trade Zone Laws. 
  • Coordination with Finance on payment requests, Pos, and invoices.
  • Provide support to HR to ensure occupational health local regulations are applied.


Requirements

  • Working proficiency in both English and Spanish
  • Proven experience as an HR coordinator or HR administrative support.
  • Experience and knowledge in CR Employment Law
  • Knowledge of human resources operations and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with MS Office and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Additional training and certification in Human Resource Management (CIPD) is advantageous.
