What You’ll Do….
As the HR Coordinator, you are responsible for supporting manufacturing and human resources team members, as well as processing bi-weekly payroll for the High Point manufacturing site. This includes a wide array of reporting, analysis and administrative tasks within the department. You are often the face of the HR team, from initial onboarding through day-to-day team member guidance and assistance.

  • Administer bi-weekly payroll for a diverse and inclusive manufacturing organization; perform timely entry of pay data related to payroll cycle processing
  • Provide weekly, periodic, monthly and annual reports to various departments, often pulling data from multiple sources using lookup functions. Analyze data using various charts and pivots.
  • Assist in payroll related audits including 401k and workers compensation
  • Process purchase orders for approval in the accounts payable system for HR departmental spend including weekly and monthly staffing and benefits bills
  • New Hire onboarding including offer letter generation, background checks, HRIS entry, policy and benefits review and initial food safety compliance training
  • Coordinate benefits including new hire eligibility reports, enrollments, terminations and changes; utilize online benefits portal to assist team members with self-enrollments
  • Reconcile benefit bills and team member deductions using system reports to ensure accuracy and proper cost allocation
  • Read, understand and interpret policies and procedures to provide guidance to department managers
  • Handle administrative tasks including but not limited to verifications of employment, team member badge and locker assignments and team member e-file maintenance
  • Function as the return-to-work coordinator by administering team member leaves of absences, ensuring consistent tracking, documentation and follow up.
  • Act as a back-up to the HR Manager and HRBP for HR and benefit related matters, serving as liaison for team members in answering questions and resolving issues

You have….

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of HR and payroll experience ideally in a manufacturing environment
  • Web-based HRIS experience required; Proliant payroll experience a plus
  • A high degree of organization with solid follow up and tracking skills effectively prioritize tasks
  • Advanced Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, lookups and data analysis
  • A customer service mindset with the drive to establish and continuously improve processes
  • The ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels of the organization
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task effectively
  • Knowledge and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
