HR Coordinator - Audit (3 Month Contract)

Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to prepare documentation for internal and external for 401k and I9 audits, partner with auditors to provide required information, and coordinate the resolution of employee data discrepancies.
Audit Support
- Prepare and organize HR documentation and employee records for internal and external audits.
- Act as the primary point of contact for auditors, providing requested information and supporting audit activities.
- Track audit findings, recommendations, and action items to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain audit documentation and records in accordance with company policies.
Employee Data Management
- Review employee data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Follow up with employees and managers to collect missing information and correct data discrepancies.
- Monitor data quality and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Support the maintenance of employee records throughout the employee lifecycle.
Payroll and Systems Coordination
- Partner with Payroll teams to resolve employee data issues that may impact pay, benefits, or reporting.
- Liaise with HR Systems teams to investigate and resolve system-related data concerns.
- Support testing and validation activities related to HR system updates and data corrections.
- Ensure consistent data management practices across HR, Payroll, and HR technology platforms.
Qualifications
- Previous audit experience; 401k audit activity is strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Success Measures
- Timely and accurate completion of audit requests.
- High levels of employee data accuracy and compliance.
- Effective resolution of data discrepancies and audit findings.
