Torch Technologies is seeking a HR Business Partner that will support an assigned business unit or region by promoting, communicating, and implementing human resources strategies and initiatives. This role requires building and maintaining influential relationships by acting as a strategic partner with management and an advocate for employees. The candidate will provide expert guidance on employment law, coordinate performance management, and resolve employee relations issues. Additionally, act as a subject matter expert on HR policies and procedures, including payroll, benefits,  compensation, and employee relations.

As a HR Business Partner your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:

•Partner with management to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals.

•Provide expert advice on employment law, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.

•Coordinate and oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development planning.

•Address and resolve employee relations issues, including conducting investigations and recommending appropriate actions.

•Serve as a subject matter expert on HR policies and procedures, including payroll, benefits, compensation, and employee relations.

•Facilitate employee development programs to enhance skills and career progression.

•Analyze HR metrics and data to provide insights and recommendations to management.

•Assist in developing and implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

•Lead or participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed.

•Will conduct compliance with all internal policies and regulatory requirements is mandatory.

•Will provide continued education and training in human resources practices and employment law are encouraged to maintain competency in the role.

•Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.

•Proven problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills.

•Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

•Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

•High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

•Proficient in HRIS systems/Workday and other HR-related software.

•Strong organizational and project management skills.

•Ability to work independently and as part of the team.

Job Requirements:

•US Citizenship.

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience with practical knowledge of assigned functional areas.

• 5 years of experience in the field of Human Resources.

•  Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is preferred.

• Employee Relations: Addressing complex employee relations issues, conflicts, and conducting investigations.

• Performance Management: Coaching managers on employee performance, development, and career growth.

• Organizational Development: Driving change management initiatives, improving workplace culture, and restructuring teams.

• Data Analysis: Analyzing HR metrics and trends to provide insights that improve efficiency and productivity.

Schedule: M-F; 8-5
