In this role, you will be joining a newly established and growing area in our company, responsible for designing, planning, and building all major fill & finish expansion projects across Novo Nordisk to meet the needs of millions of patients. The Position
Ensure business success, serving one or more senior leadership team domains by linking people strategy & performance, driving HR programs, & coaching managers at all levels. Lead local & corporate organizational & leadership development programs. Champion the Novo Nordisk Way.

Essential Functions
- Help managers & employees develop leadership competencies
- Coaching site senior leadership and people managers to ensure consistent handling, quality & execution timeliness for HR processes, including the followings: current issues & solutions, change management & communications support, talent management, performance appraisals, individual development plan execution, employee opinion survey results & team development plans, performance interventions, candidate selection recommendations, exit interviews & turnover analysis, new & revised job description process and , and new management orientation
- Organizational consulting & future planning
- Global employee engagement survey planning & execution
- Other duties: NNWay (modeling & teaching the values), training, promoting diversity, training needs assessment, new employee orientation segments, meeting planning & co-facilitation
- Execute local & global/corporate HR projects/programs effectively & efficiently
- Other specialist duties (process championship roles) as assigned to support fellow partners & the business
- Follow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties
- Other accountabilities, as assigned
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in an open office environment with the possibility of frequent distraction. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. (% can change on a case-by-case basis based on the role.)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field from an accredited university required
- May consider an associate's degree in human resources or related field from an accredited university with nine (9) years of relevant HR generalist experience required
- May consider a High School Degree or equivalent with eleven (11) years of relevant HR generalist experience required
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred
- Minimum seven (7) years of relevant HR generalist experience required, preferably in a multi-shift manufacturing organization
- Previous management experience preferred
- General knowledge of relevant employment law, personnel policies & procedures best practices required
- Business understanding preferred
- HR IT Systems knowledge & experience preferred

- Communications: written, verbal, presentation. Impact & influence preferred
- Analytical skills required
- Lean Manufacturing applications in the workplace preferred
- Change management experience preferred
- Organizational development programs execution, including performance appraisal, individual development planning, staffing, problem resolution, future planning & organizational development, employee opinion survey response, etc. preferred
- Proven expertise in organizing information & people from across the organization to develop & implement policies & programs to promote positive employee relations & to support core processes to meet or exceed company business goals required
