Key Responsibilities
Reporting to our HR Manager, you'll be the go-to HR expert across the business.

What you'll be doing
- Leading employee relations cases end to end: performance, probation, absence, grievance and disciplinary
- Coaching managers so they can confidently handle difficult conversations and own the people side of their roles
- Keeping our HR policies clear, current and in line with legislation
- Shaping how we work. From change management and organisation design to absence management, talent analytics and employee engagement, you'll guide our people practices.
- Looking after our HR system and people data, and turning that data into insight for our Management Team
- Helping shape management training, competency frameworks and appraisals
- Getting involved in culture, engagement and internal comms
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Generalist HR experience across the full employee lifecycle, ideally in a small or mid-sized business where you've covered the whole HR remit
- A track record of leading ER processes yourself, not just supporting them
- Solid working knowledge of UK employment law, applied with common sense.
- Commercial awareness: you understand HR is there to help a business run well
- Empathy, emotional intelligence and a collaborative, roll-your-sleeves-up approach
- CIPD Level 5 is a bonus, but not essential.
