Salary Range: $52,000 - $61,000 annually (depending on experience)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Human Resources Administrator manages and resolves complex personnel and employment matters and works with other HR team members to develop and implement HR-based solutions to business problems.
• Conduct new employee orientation
• Respond to public inquiries regarding available positions
• Coordinate the hourly recruiting process
• Create and update job descriptions
• Assist with workplace safety and health
• Assist in developing HR policies and procedures
• Track drug and alcohol testing for the Trentwood and Alutek facilities
• Stay up to date on legal requirements
• Prepare HR reports, studies, and recommendations for department and management
• Administer summer hire and intern processes
• Evaluate and assist in upgrading department processes and technology
• Update contact information in Outlook and maintain HR webpage
• Serve as backup to other HR personnel
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE –
This individual will possess:
• Two (2) years' relevant experience in Human Resources
• PHR Certification is preferred
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong PC skills, including Windows, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
• Ability to achieve results through a planned, organized approach to work
• Proven ability to work in teams, both as a team leader and a team member
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Approximately 90% of the job is performed in an office setting requiring normal safety precautions; 10% is required in the plant with exposure to operating machinery and a manufacturing environment.

• This position requires performing tasks on a computer.
• There will be periods of walking and standing.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and climb or balance.
• The employee is occasionally required to reach with arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl; and talk and hear.
