The Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of public and employee areas throughout the hotel while assisting the Housekeeping Department as needed.
Essential Duties- Clean and maintain public restrooms, employee restrooms, and pool restrooms.
- Clean and maintain the pool room and surrounding areas.
- Clean and maintain the hotel lobby and hallways.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
- Restock restrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and other supplies.
- Collect and take hotel trash to the dumpster.
- Keep public areas clean, safe, and presentable for guests and employees.
- Assist Room Attendants and the Housekeeping Department as needed.
- Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or other problems to management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Reliable and dependable.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to cleanliness and detail.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the shift.
- Previous hotel or housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
