Job Summary:
- Administrative representative after hours, on weekends and holidays.
- Assess activities of all departments in order to assure continuity of care; report pertinent information to management and administration.
- Provide continuity in supervision of hospital personnel and provide guidance and direction to maintain quality clinical care along with prudent fiscal management (supplies and staffing).
- Create and maintain an environment which promotes mutual trust, acceptance, recognition and respect; demonstrate personal and professional responsibility and assume accountability for own professional development.
- Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.
- Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.
Education:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Alabama. Preferred bachelor of science degree in nursing.
Experience:
Five years' management/supervisor experience preferred. Two years required.
Additional Skills/Abilities:
Possess excellent interpersonal skills sufficient to interact with guests. Proficient oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills required.
