About Our Family

We are a vibrant, high-energy family of four living in Brooklyn. Our home is warm, multilingual, full of creativity and intentional living. With one of us in the creative space, it is central to our everyday life. We deeply value curiosity, imagination, and artistic expression. Another parent works from home, though our schedules vary week to week. Whether we are traveling for work or as a family, our household thrives on flexibility, adaptability, and mutual trust. We value a team member who can travel with us when needed and help care for our children on the road.

Our two children, both under ten, are curious, active, and full of life. Our current house manager/nanny has been with us for several years and has grown to be a true part of the family, but she will be leaving after the summer. We have a household rhythm that works well for us, and we are now looking for a new team member to join our village—someone who can jump in seamlessly, anticipate needs, and bring fluidity, flexibility, and warmth to our daily lives.

After the first school pick-up at 1 PM, this role becomes more child-focused and shifts to nanny responsibilities, supporting our kids with after-school activities, playdates, and outdoor time, while also helping keep the home organized and running smoothly.

We prioritize wholesome food, low screen time, and being fully present with each other. Life in our home is active, joyful, and ever-changing, and the right person will thrive in this environment while helping our household run efficiently and warmly.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For

You naturally see what needs to be done and take initiative with thoughtfulness and care. Calm, grounded, and flexible, you bring a steady presence to a busy household. You love children, enjoy being active outdoors, and are energized by balancing multiple responsibilities with poise. You are comfortable traveling with the family when needed, providing seamless childcare on the road, and stepping in wherever the household requires support.

You approach household management with a project-manager mindset—creating systems, staying organized, and anticipating needs before they arise. You are equally comfortable in a blended role of child-focused care, while also managing household tasks such as meal prep, errands, laundry, tidying, and larger organizational projects.

You bring positivity, patience, and a creative yet grounded energy. Inclusive and affirming of all family members, you offer a gentle but confident presence with the children. You enjoy cooking wholesome meals and treat your work as a professional craft. You communicate clearly and thrive in a home with many moving parts, where your adaptability, initiative, and presence make a meaningful difference every day.

You are deeply respectful of professional boundaries while genuinely caring about the family, blending warmth and professionalism in everything you do.
