As an In-House Coordinator, you’ll work directly with our hospital partners, building strong relationships with healthcare teams while helping identify and support opportunities for organ and tissue donation. This is a unique role that blends clinical knowledge, relationship building, education, and compassionate family support.

Your Impact
As an In-House Coordinator, you will:
- Conduct hospital rounds and follow up on active referrals and potential donation opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with hospital staff and key partners.
- Provide donation education, in-services, and real-time support to healthcare professionals.
- Monitor donation activity and help identify opportunities to improve donation processes and outcomes.
- Clinically evaluate potential organ and tissue donors and collaborate with hospital staff to preserve donation options.
- Help facilitate the start of organ donor cases, including coordination with hospital staff and LifeShare teams.
- Engage compassionately with families regarding organ and tissue donation and provide support throughout the donation process.
- Present donation options to legal next-of-kin and obtain authorization when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate donor, referral, hospital, and educational documentation.
- Support hospital-specific donation initiatives, education, and relationship-building efforts.
The role is designed to maintain a strong on-site hospital presence while supporting clinical evaluation, family conversations, education, case coordination, and donation-performance initiatives.
QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Two years of critical care experience
- Bachelor’s degree in science, marketing, sales, education, public relations, or a related field; other degree/experience combinations with strong communication, relationship-building, and critical care experience may be considered
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and adaptable in emotionally sensitive and rapidly changing situations
- Hospital Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred
- Public speaking and healthcare education experience are a plus
